I'm getting a pop-up to update software what should I do?

Typically all updates are handled by IT and should only be performed after they have been tested in a non-critical environment. Additionally, updates may not be properly applied if they are done by a user due to user level restrictions. 

It is best to leave updates to IT in order to maintain the integrity of the computer system and the network.
